Week 284 Update

AS has become my custom, I spent 12+ hours on most days this week working at my computer. Even when I am not working at the computer, my mind is churning at what I need to get done next. We did not walk at all this week, and the benefits that I got from doing all that exercise on the cruise are fast evaporating. Clearly this is not a good path that I am on right now, and will have to change it.

I am seeing some of the same ailments in myself that Dotti has been suffering from over the recent years. So much time at the computer has caused my eyes to redden and tire, feeling very dry. (I have changed the resolution on my screen so the image it presents is larger and that has helped a lot.) I have been having trouble sleeping, which was never a problem before. Clearly, this lifestyle has a heavy health load attached to it. This will have to change, and that change is a top priority. I have always been a dedicated worker, but I have never considered myself a workaholic before. Now I am not so sure.

Over the past year my points range has dropped a long ways. This week I only averaged 38.07 points but I continued to hang around 199 pounds all week long. One year ago I averaged 38.14 points-per-day, and my weigh averaged 185.93. That change is real. I am not eating more than I used to, but I am weighting about 15 pounds more. Lifestyle, and medication changes have ganged up on my weight on the scale, and it is now up to me to find a solution.

Still, I am writing everything down each day, and the journey continues. I merely am traveling over very different terrain than I have in the past.

5 years, 163 days OP; a lifetime to follow.
