Week 184.0 Update

It was overcast, 64º and 06:35 when I stepped up on Mr. Scale and he said, "184.0 pounds!"

I have had a difficult week this week, not in eating low enough or holding my weight down, but in being able to exercise. I am having some problem with my abdominal area that I will be having looked at this upcoming week. It started when we were in Roseburg, when I lifted a suitcase out of the trunk of our car. It has not only not gotten better; it seems to have worsened. I was able to walk at first, as long as I didn't go too fast, but now even slow walking seems to make it feel worse. It is hard to tell whether or not it is a pulled muscle, diverticulitis or something else. After the year that we have been having so far, I am not surprised that something popped up.

Jim and Tammy arrived last night (early this morning actually), and Dotti and I are looking forward to spending a fun weekend with our dear friends.

Eating and Weight – Since pressure on my abdominal area was a problem, I sought to decrease it by moving my weight down a bit. I dropped my points this week to see if it would help. So, far it has only been mildly effective.

I averaged 39.36 points per day for this week, and my average weight fell from 184.36 to 182.21.

Exercise – I walked 3.1 miles on Sunday with Dotti. On Monday I walked 2.0 miles at work, and that was it for the week. I didn't feel up to walking the rest of the days. On Thursday I arrived early at work and started to walk but I only went a few steps before I knew there was going to be a problem and I turned back.

Water – For water this week I did just fine. I drank at least 6 cups each day and I averaged 64.0 ounces (8 cups) per day, right at the top of my minimum goal range.

Week's Evaluation – My weight was intentionally low this week, and eating was not a problem. Exercise was restricted, and I hope that I can get back on track with that before too much longer. My water consumption was very good. With all things considered, I feel this week was a success.

3 years, 193 days OP; a lifetime to follow.
