Week 163 Update

At 05:08 I stepped up on Mr. Scale and he said, "184.0 pounds!"

We hit a couple of important dates for the year this week. First off, we saw the first day of summer on Sunday. (That means we are only 3 months from autumn, my favorite season of the year.) Then Friday marked the halfway point to Christmas! Yes, six months backwards or forwards would land you on Christmas day. We are almost there.

Eating and Weight – I ended up averaging 41.93 points per day this week. Monday was a high day (64.0 points), mainly because we went to a Mexican food restaurant, right around the corner from my doctor's office, after I had stopped there for a visit. Those cheese dishes really rack up the points in a hurry! I had eaten 36.0 points by the time I left. However, I made up for it the rest of the week, ending with a low average for points in spite of the one high day.

My average weight for the week was 184.36, less than a pound under my target weight. I am happy with that.

Exercise – I did well on my exercise this week; walking 27.30 miles. That brought my monthly total up to 132.0 miles and my total miles for the year moved up to 529.2 miles.

Water – My water consumption this week was good. I drank at least 6 cups each day and I averaged 78.9 ounces (9.8 cups) per day, over the top of my minimum goal range.

Week's Evaluation – My weight was right where I wanted it this week. I have been able to deal with pain medication and water retention while holding my weight within my goal range. Exercise was right where I want it to be. If I averaged 27.3 miles per week for the rest of the year, I will reach my goal of 1,200 total miles. Water consumption for the week was all that could have hoped for. Overall, I would be happy if every week were like this one was.
