Week 103 Update

It was 05:45 when I stepped up on Mr. Scale in our room at the Heathman Lodge and he said, “180.0 pounds!”

What a week! After working Monday and Tuesday, I had taken the rest of the week off in order to prepare for the conference. I could have done with more time even so. On Wednesday Jackie and Rick showed up, as the first arrivals for the conference, and Tracy was not far behind. The evening was a busy one, as things were put together to take to the hotel and of course the visiting was great. On Thursday we moved into the hotel and a large number of Zonies arrived for the Thursday night dinner at Tony Romas. Friday the remainder of the conference attendees arrived and the 3rd Annual DWLZ conference kicked off. My activity meter was maxed out from there on.

I wore 34 inch pants all conference long, and they were fairly comfortable. I am getting close to that goal now that I dropped the additional 5 pounds!

My average weight for the week was 180.50 pounds, within one-half pound of my target weight. So, I am settling in to my new target zone pretty well.

For eating this week, I started off by eating 39.5 points on Saturday, after my 180.0 weigh-in. I had just pulled my weight down a couple of pounds the previous day and I didn’t want to pop back up again. As it turned out, I still moved up a half pound. I ate 34.0 points on Sunday, and the scale moved back to 180.0 Monday morning. I felt like I was in need of some extra points that day. My blood sugar felt low by lunch time, and so I grabbed a large McDonalds Butterfinger McFlurry at lunch. I ended up eating 54.0 points, and the scale held steady at 180.0 on Tuesday. We went to a restaurant that evening (18.5 pts) and I ended up eating a total of 47.0 points for the day. On Wednesday, my vacation started, and my weight was still 180.0. We went to Sweet tomatoes for our evening meal (28.0 pts) and I had a total of 47.5 points for the day. Thursday my weight moved up to 182.0, but I held my points steady at 47.5. The scale responded on Friday with 180.0 weighing at the Heathman Lodge. I ate 48.5 points and today my weigh-in held at 180.0.

For exercise this week, I walked 2 miles on Saturday in 25:19, for 6.48 aerobic points. I also walked 1 mile on Monday before work, in 13:27, for 2.46 aerobic points. That put me at an abysmal 8.94 aerobic points for the week. I only got to the gym once during the week. I did do some weight training on Saturday, Tuesday, and Friday using the dumbbells that I purchased recently.

For water this week, I averaged 73.14 ounces (9.14 cups) per day for the week. That is well within my goal of 6-8 cups per day. I got in at least 6 cups each day of the week.

1 year, 356 days OP; a lifetime to follow.
