Plan Your Time For Right After You Quit

Find interesting and low stress things to occupy your mind for the first few days. Go to places where you cannot smoke (today that list is nearly endless) so you will not be reminded of the absence of your own cigarettes.

One of the greatest dangers is boredom. In fact for me, boredom was one of my biggest triggers. I found that I had to keep my mind active and on the go right after quitting. Go swimming, or take a walk. Exercise is a great suppressant to cigarette urges.
