| Comments: | Hi Dotti, I joined WW last year in May or June without much success (mostly on my part... I only lasted on the program about 10 weeks), and have just recently thought about another go at it. I have the 8 weeks of booklets (I am soooo glad I didn't throw them out!!) so I thought I would join a few WW newletters at onelist and try it at home with some new-found online friends! You have a *great* website!!! I am sure I will return many, many times! I am currently at 197 pounds. As of April 15.... I weighed myself this morning..... first time since quitting WW last year. I am just 5 ft. tall so I am almost as wide as I am tall LOL! But *this time* I really want to do it and get down to my goal weight of 120 lbs. My husband could stand to lose about 30 pounds, so he isn't as overweight as I am. I have subscribed to about 5 or 6 of the WW newsletters on onelist, but haven't given my introduction yet. I don't have a computer at home, so I come to the library about every other day. I hope to make several new friends to help and encourage me during the next year as I attempt to lose this weight once and for all!!!! I am 42 and today is my 22nd wedding anniversary. There is NO WAY that I could fit into my size 7 wedding dress!!! I currently wear size 22. Well, I just wanted to stop in to tell you that your website is a *wealth* of information especially to those of us who are starting up on WW (even the 2nd time around!!). Keep up the good work! restaurant values! I found out that by calling 1-800-HARDEES (427-3337) that they will give you all the nutritional values for their food over the phone. This includes fiber grams! I called today concerning the 99 cent Spicy Chicken sandwich: 439 cal, 2g fiber, 22g fat. Total of 10.7 points! |

insparation to me. I was plugging along just fine until about 3 weeks when
I thought that it wouldn't matter if I ate just one of something and than
another and another. I have found that when I eat something that I know I
shouldn't I rationalize in my head that I have already spoiled the day so
I may as well just fininsh the day on a bad note and start tomorrow fresh.
This how ever does not work for me. This morning I started a walking
program. I am a larger woman than you were when you started the program
and so far have lost 26 lbs. I do feel better and seem to have a little
more energy. I need to do this my life is just passing me by because I
feel that I can't do the things that other woman are doing. Thank you for

| Comments: | Hi Dotti, This is a fantastic web site. My name is Jo Ann from TEXAS. The reason I was visiting your site, I am trying to "sike" myself up to change my way of eating. I am now appx. 35 pounds overweight and moving on up the scales! My concern is...The WW meetings have become so expensive! Some of us, cannot easily afford the enrollemnt and weekly fees, without it being a very big financial strain! Do you feel that going to the meetings is the only way you could have been successful on the 1-2-3 points system? I would like to try it on my own first, then if absolutley necessary, I would have to go to the meetings(which would financially strain me very much) but if it is absolutley necessary, I will have to find away to do it! I just would like to have your honest opinion and anyone else who would like to respond to me, whether your weight loss success from the meetings, outway the costly expense??? Years ago I was in weight watchers and always had good results. I am not
working and my husband and I live on limited income. I cannot afford to go
any longer thanks to you and your website I can start working on myself. I

is just amazing. I am 28 years old. I have two young children. I am
5'7" and weigh about 225 lbs. When I was in high school my average
weight was 130. I have gained almost 100 lbs. since then. I have tried WW
before without success, because my mind wasn't in the right place. I think
now it may be. You are such an inspiration to me. I will be checking out

12-15 pounds total(have lost about 5 so far) and the cost of joining was
