website! It is bigger and more involved that the actual Weight Watchers
site. And your recipes sound fabulous. I have printed many of them and
can't wait to try each of them out. Don't you ever use convenience foods?
(I use alot of them ' cause I don't get home till about 6, and don't want
to spend too much time in the kitchen. You may want to develope some
"in a half hour (or so)" recipes. I started my weight loss journey May 15, 1999. My son was getting married in September, and I didn't want to look like a "Mother of the Groom." (I wanted my son to be proud of his Mom and how she looked too - the bride's mother is a size 2!) I am only 46, and don't feel old enough to be in that position (I don't look it either). So I set my immediate sites on 30 lbs by the first of September. (I had to return the first dress I purchased and exchange it for one 2 sizes smaller.) I made that goal easily and have now lost 57-58 total lbs. (I keep fluctuating between 127 and 131.) My "goal" weight set by my WW coach was 140. MY goal was 135. I have kept it off for 4 months now. My mother has finally joined after months with no success going to a nutritionist, and her blood sugar (she has mild diabetes)is now under control and she has lost 11 lbs! I loved the article your husband wrote, too. He must have been a great deal of help during your outstanding effort. You have many reasons to be proud. Thank you for your website. I will spread your "address" around as much as possible. Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration, for sure! Thanks again. |

I am really enjoying it. I love Chinese food, do you ever make a points
chart for that, foods other than what is in the book, ex. the vegetables
in sauce, and seafood & veggies with a sauce. I pick the veggies,
shrimp & crab out of the meat dishes. At Burger King we can get "veggie whoppers", a whopper without the meat, you can also get cheese on it, it costs a little over $1.00. We count it as 5 points, how many points would you count? Keep up the good work !!!!! |
