| Comments: | I have been a w/w member (lifetime, but never "free"). I always went back up after I lost weight. I went back for the umpteenth time four years ago and lost 61 pounds. I have kept them off until just the last couple of months. I am struggling with about 6 or 7 pounds that just don't want to go away. It has been very frustrating. I know as we get older, it is harder to lose, but I have tried everything I know and nothing is working. So, when I saw your web site, I was fascinated. It is very motivating and helpful. It really pumped me up again and I got right up and went on the treadmill !!! I am keeping you in my favorites, and hopefully when I am having a bad day, I can come to you for a little inspiration. You have done a great job on your weight loss and your web site. Thanks for making me look at myself and my lifestyle again. I am going to do some re-evaluating. |

| Comments: | This is my first time at your website and I just love it. I think I have been here for almost 3 hours. I found so much I wanted to read I just started printing things to read later. I started to cry when I read the "Autobiography In Five Short Chapters". That is totally how I feel all the time the only thing is that I haven't gotten past the fourth chapter. I have been a W.W. member since the end of February and I haven't even lost ten pounds yet. I have been on the program before and lost 42 pounds(did not make goal). Gained it back and then some. I think mentally I am just not into it even though I am misserable with my weight. I haven't begun a regular exercise routine yet and I know that is a must do for my weight loss efforts to be effective. I do belong to a Gym but I often find myself in a catch 22, too embarrased to excercise in public but if I exercise it will help me loose weight. |

I LOVE YOUR SITE. Between all your great places to visit and the webring
you belong to, I could sit here all day and read. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and you are truly an inspiration for us that have to lose any amount of weight (myself I have 43lbs to lose and currently have 33lbs to go - it is slowly coming off, but I am in no hurry. I just want to be healthy, happy and love myself. I am also trying to teach my 5yr old daughter about the good healthy choices she can make, but talking to a 5yr old about healthy eating is like talking to a brick wall. One of the most rewarding things is to have my 7 year old daughter tell me she can put her arms around me now and before she couldn't. For some reason I am lacking the motivation this time. I found your website today and in it found a couple of quotes you use that "used to be" my motto's! I need to start using them again! and after pictures and they are marvelous. Congratulations!!!! In 1988 I weighed 130lbs. In 1987, when I went to my 10yr. reunion, I weighed 205lbs. I swore, this is it! I began doing the Richard Simmons "Dance Your Pants Off" aerobic videos. Immediately I saw results. After the aerobics I would walk a mile on my treadmill. At first it was hard to walk five minutes. After about a couple of weeks it got easier. I now walk/jog one to two miles a day. If I don't, I feel all sluggish. I am now down to 165lbs and still trying to lose more. My goal is " 125 " Soon I will be there. Although I am in no hurry, I will get there. Again, Congrats! Thank you for a wonderful website. |
