| Comments: | You have a great site! What an inspiration. I weighed in today and have only lost 1/4# since last week and felt a little discouraged until I thought about my week. I had eaten out 4 times, had a birthday for my 18year old son, a soccer banquet, and a 2nd graders Thanksgiving "feast". I have stepped up the exercise to at least a kilometer and one half on my nordic track each day. I did plan before I went to each event and for the most part stuck with it. At this point, I am about to start my period and usually I gain at least 5# in water. So I guess that the fact I didn't gain weight this week and actually lost that 1/4# is all right! I am exactly 20# away from goal and hope to be there by March 16, 2000 when we leave for a vacation to Paris! Thanks for listening, Sandra |

I lost 22 kilograms (about 50 lbs) and find that it is a constant challenge to keep it off. At the moment I am about 3 kilograms over goal. | Comments: | Dotti, you did a wonderful job on your weight loss. Tonite I weigh in for the first time. I just joined last Monday. I am very discouraged. I do really well at work, but have a terrible time once Friday nite hits. I tried this program for 3 weeks before I signed up officially. My husband is not very supportive, telling me I won't stick with it especially before the holidays. The kids (there are 3) don't hesitate to let me know EVERY slip up I make. I don't eat because I am hungry. I eat because it is there. I want to prove my husband wrong and the kids too. I know I can do this, but how do I survive the weekends? I have to add, my husband does all the cooking during the week.(He gets home sooner than I do) He does a great job and so do I with what he makes. It is mostly low fat so that is not the problem. It is the weekends!!! Do you or anyone else have any suggestions? |
