Well, it looks like another couple of weeks got away from me. I’ve been working continually during that time on my website, revamping and updating the Restaurants page, Recipe pages, and the Food Lists pages. I’ve added 17 new food lists and 7 new restaurants to the site and the iPhone App. Check out my new Fair Foods list with some of the most outrageous foods I’ve ever seen. The calories/Points are pretty darn outrageous too. I’ve revamped my blog to load faster and have a cleaner look. I like the new look.
I got back up on the elliptical (left) today after quite an absence from my workouts. The last time I did the elliptical was on July 9th. I’m happy to report I was able to keep the workout at 45 minutes, Level 9, and went at least 3 miles. I didn’t die. It actually felt very good to get back on my exercise routine.
Later in the day, Al and I picked up some groceries at Costco and Winco Foods. While out, we found a rainbow! Rainbows always bring a smile to my face.
I stepped back away from my Journey for a couple of weeks. I didn’t exercise regularly or journal my food. Luckily, I was able to keep my healthy habits in place. I maintained between 201-201 lbs during this time. I think I just needed a break from it all. I will see Onderland one of these days. Today I weighed in at 201.8 so a maintain is good, for now.
We have been having nice weather, in the 70’s with a slight breeze. I love 65 to 75 degrees the best. We had some rain today but that’s nothing new for this area. Rain keeps everything green and beautiful. One of these days Al and I will have to hike another trail. The trails are so beautiful early in the morning.
I’m hoping to get my sleep straightened out, yet again. I seem to get turned around a lot. I think I’m nocturnal. I do my best work at night. Maybe it’s because there are no distractions. Luckily I am able to sleep when I want and work when I can’t sleep.

As for my Journey, I am feeling like I’m back in control and on the right path. I’m exercising and journaling again. I’m listening to my Enjoying Weight Loss Hypnosis CDs again to help keep me motivated and focused. They never fail me when I take the time to listen to the different tracks on the CDs. Plus, I love Dr. Roberta Temes.
