Oct 7 ~ Weigh-In [221 lbs ~ (-1.3) lb] [9:45 am] 55 minutes Elliptical, 4 miles, 450 calories burned, watched Sopranos, Season 3, Episode 4 ~ 32 oz water ~ 30 pts ~ After having not done my Elliptical for 5 days I was ready to hop up on and watch an episode of Sopranos (really helps the 55 minutes fly by). It was a little bit of a struggle but I made it. Good weigh-in with a 1.3 lb loss. Ate at the top of my range again. Didn't get enough water in today so that is something to work on, along with trying to eat a few Points less in the next couple of days.
Oct 8 - [3:00 pm] 51:02 minutes Elliptical, 3.7 miles, 420 calories burned, watched Sopranos, Season 3, Episode 5 ~ 48 oz water ~ 30 pts ~ listened to Dr. Roberta's "Exercising Regularly" hypnosis session ~ Good day today. Lunch with my Al & LeRoy at Red Robin; had the El Pollo Salad, keeping my Points low, dressing on the side. Other than that, a quiet day at home. For some reason I'm eating at the high end of my Point range; been hungry.
Oct 9 - [1:45 pm] 47:09 minutes Elliptical, 3.5 miles, 389 calories burned, watched Sopranos, Season 3, Episode 6 ~ 40 oz water ~ 29 pts ~ I'm on a roll with my Elliptical workout; next week, all 5 days! Newsletter is finished and sent out. Quiet day today. LeRoy visited this evening. Good day on Program.
Oct 10 - No Workout ~ 40 oz water ~ 29 pts ~ didn't sleep well last night. Slept in this morning so got a late start on my day. Al had a very 'red' eye so we took him into Urgent Care to make sure it wasn't "pink eye". The doc didn't think so. Did a little shopping (great sales now) and then headed home. Happy with my day on Program and my water. Went to bed very early, about 6:30 pm!
Oct 11 - No Workout ~ 32 oz water ~ 34 pts ~ listened to Dr. Roberta's "Eating Smart" hypnosis session ~ Good day today. After getting some work done I picked up LeRoy to get some shopping done. Had lunch at Red Robin. Ate the Sliders but no fries. Loved the company :) Quiet evening at home. I didn't drink enough water; seems to be an ongoing issue that I always have to work on. High end of Points range. Sleeping okay.
Oct 12 - Took a nice 3 mile walk with Al; very cool outside; refreshing ~ 32 oz water ~ 14 pts ~ Not a good day on Program. I just wasn't very hungry so didn't eat, resulting in a very low Point day. Tomorrow will be a better day.
Oct 13 - Helped my niece, Jamie, move to her first apartment; 3rd floor; lots of going up and down steps; about 8 hours ~ 24 oz water ~ 47 pts ~ listened to Dr. Roberta's "Appreciating Yourself" session ~ Worked all day helping Jamie move; did not drink enough water at all and was dehydrated some of the day. Of course, I was so busy that I didn't notice this until the day was done. Why do I do this to myself? I know to stay hydrated. Good day of exercise. Ate high but definately earned the Points today. Since I was only at 14 Points yesterday I'm okay. My bed never looked so good when I got home around 10 pm.
Oct 14~ Weigh-In [220.5 lbs ~ (-0.7) lbs] - Finished helping my niece, Jamie, move to her first apartment; 3rd floor; lots of going up and down steps; about 5 hours ~ 40 oz water ~ 36 pts ~ Another busy day helping Jamie finish up with her move. She is so excited and I'm so excited for her. Little Hunter loves his new "apartment" and his new room. Fun times! I drank more water today so was feeling better in the water department. Ate at the high end but definately earned the extra Points. I didn't lose a lot this weigh-in but I did lose and I'm keeping my chin up. I'm doing all the right things and eventually the scale will catch up. A good day!
Oct 15 - No Workout ~ 40 oz water ~ 32.5 pts ~ listened to Dr. Roberta's "Avoiding Temptation" session ~ I was so very, very sore and tired today after the two days of lifting and going up and down 3 flights of stairs helping Jamie move. I can barely walk my muscles hurt so bad. Another night of sleeping like a rock.
Oct 16 - No Workout ~ 56 oz water ~ 33 pts ~ Another very tiring day; seems I'm wiped out more than I realized. Got plenty of sleep off and on most of the day. As tired as I was I still managed to eat 33 Points. isn't it amazing how you can always manage to eat no matter what else is going on? Drank plenty of water today so that's a plus. Great day to catch up on my sleep and rest those muscles.
Oct 17 - No Workout~ 48 oz water ~ 28.5 pts ~ caught up on my emails and some other things that have been on my to-do list. Water and Points consumed were good today. As far as program goes, the day was okay. I stayed within my Points and got enough water in for the day.
Oct 18 - No Workout ~ 32 oz water ~ 29 pts ~ listened to Dr. Roberta's "Exercising Regularly" session ~ Good day today. Did some work on the website and the newsletter. Quiet day at home
Oct 19 - [7:15 am] 47:25 minutes Elliptical, 3.6 miles, 391 calories burned, watched Sopranos, Season 3, Episode 7 ~ 32 oz water ~ 28.5 pts ~ Worked on my newsletter today. Great day on Program. Finally got back on my elliptical; seems like it's been forever since the last time I used it. My workout felt good. Points were good today; I could of drank some more water. All in all, a great OP day being back in control. I like it!
Oct 20 - [9:00 am] 50:09 minutes Elliptical, 3.9 miles, 397 calories burned, watched Sopranos, Season 3, Episode 8 ~ 48 oz water ~ 32 pts ~ I was a little high on Points today but within my range. Finished up the newsletter this morning and then ran some errands. Good day today. Quiet evening at home with Al. Newsletter got out late this afternoon.
Oct 21 ~ Weigh-In [220 lbs ~ (-0.5) lbs] - No Workout ~ 40 oz water ~ 36.5 pts ~ Tammy and I spent the day out. We had a wonderful lunch (too high on Points, but wonderful) and then she took me to a few places I've never been before here in Spokane. Nice, relaxing day. My Points were too high but my lunch was simply delicious so I'll be accountable and move on, with no guilt. It was a very relaxing, fun day.
Oct 22 - [9:30 am] 47:15 minutes Elliptical, 3.6 miles, 393 calories burned, watched Sopranos, Season 3, Episode 8 (had to watch this episode again since I was on the phone most of the time during my last workout) ~ 44 oz water ~ 29.5 pts ~ listened to Dr. Roberta's "Eating Smart" hypnosis session ~ I did much better today on the eating front. I always do better at home; my safe place. But... I can't stay home all the time so much work on making better choices while eating out. Kept my Points under 30 which is good and drank enough water for the day. Good day on Program.
Oct 23 - No Workout ~ 40 oz water ~ 32.5 pts ~ Again at the top of my Points range. I could of drank more water but did okay. Very tired today. Not sleeping well again (what's new?). Not a great day but I've had worse. I can't seem to get regular on my elliptical workouts again so must work on that. When I'm hurting or tired I just can't seem to get up on that elliptical, let alone go for a walk. We had a wonderful steak dinner at Jim & Tammy's house - YUM! On Program too! Tomorrow is another day and one out of the house, having fun and walking quite a bit.
Oct 24 - Walked/on feet for about 10 hours at Scarywood ~ 48 oz water ~ 42 pts ~ overdid the Points (not with junkfood but not too many low point choices; did have 2 shots of Baileys in my coffee x 2) but had a great time at Scarywood. The Amusement park was decorated great. My favorite ride was the Panic Plunge. We walked for about 10 hours and boy, by midnight my body was telling me no more. A fun day with Al, Jim, Tammy, LeRoy and Jamie. I had some water but could of used a lot more. It was very cold in the evening, low 30's but the scares kept us moving!
Oct 25 - No Workout ~ 48 oz water ~ 28.5 pts ~ listened to Dr. Roberta's "Avoiding Temptation" session ~ I could not move; I was hurting so bad from being on my feet so long yesterday. I was very tired most of the day. I managed to have no problem eating when I wasn't sleeping. Isn't it amazing how that works? Slow day today.
Oct 26 - No Workout ~ 40 oz water ~ 31 pts ~ today was just a repeat of yesterday. Still very sore (muscles & joints) and tired. Having Fibromylagia is no fun. My dear Al always lets me sleep it off, which is very helpful when it hits me. I did not accomplish much today.
Oct 27 - No Workout ~ 40 oz water ~ 31 pts ~ listened to Dr. Roberta's "Exercising Regularly" session ~ not much going on today. I was high on my points and should of drank more water but it is what it is. I don't know why i can't 'just do it' on some days. A new day tomorrow.
Oct 28 ~ Weigh-In [221 lbs ~ (+1.0) lbs] - No Workout ~ 48 oz water ~ 32 pts ~ today's weighin shows just how I've been working my Journey - sloppy. I'm not putting the extra into it and not watching as closely as I could on what I'm putting into my mouth. The day was good. Spent it with my best friend Tammy. We pampered ourselves and got our nails done and had some great girlfriend time. Had plenty of water today.
Oct 29 - No Workout ~ No tracking! Enough said.
Oct 30 - No Workout ~ Another no tracking day - hopefully I'll be back on track tomorrow.
Oct 31 - 5 hours orgainizing/putting up decorations/moving things around the house ~ 40 oz water ~ 22 pts ~ Al and I spent the morning putting up the final Halloween decorations and getting everything ready for the trick or treaters. We had about 50 little (and big) ones. Great day. I also finished organizing the garage which took about 3 hours this afternoon. Lots of activity today, that's for sure! Jamie and our grandson Hunter came by for a bit. He was such a cute transformer. Caudy (Tams other daughter) and her 4 kids came by and they were just darling in their costumes. I took them around the block (we have a great neighborhood with lots of kids) for some trick or treating. LeRoy came by before he had to head in for work (overnight shift). Al and I had a blast handing out candy in our costumes and seeing all the wonderful costumes the kids were wearing. Good, busy day and a great end to October. On to November!
