November 2009 Journal

I will exercise 5 days a week on my Elliptical

I will listen to my "Enjoying Weight Loss"
hypnosisCD's  3  times a week

I will stay on my Weight Watcher Program

I will drink enough water daily

I will not give up!  Never! 

2009 is the time to look just fine!

I will be doing my accountability a little different this time around.  NOW is the TIME for me to get back on track, starting with getting back to a regular exercise program. I will be tracking my weigh-ins, which are on Wednesdays.  I will also be tracking my "Enjoying Weight Loss" hypnosis sessions and my daily Points for the day, ounces of water and how my day went

Nov 1 - About 5 hours taking down Halloween decorations; did the final work on the garage/walked 3 miles with Al (about 20 degrees, chilly) ~ 56 oz water ~ 24 pts ~ listened to Dr. Roberta's "Eating Smart" session ~ not a great day on Program as I didn't eat much of the right things but I did stay within my point range; okay a little low. Had plenty of water. I was thirsty all day probably because of all the work I did. It was a chilly day today but since I'm constantly having the dreaded "hot flashes" it felt good.

Nov 2 - Took a 3 mile walk with Al ~ 48 oz water ~ 28.5 pts ~ busy day today running errands.  I was gone most of the afternoon.  In the morning Al and I took both cars into Les Schwabb to have our studded tires on.  We need to be prepared.  We have a big, big hill to and from our house up on the Prairie.  Cross that off my list.  Good day on Program.  Stayed in the middle of my Points range and drank my water. 

Nov 3 - No workout ~ 32 oz water ~ 23.5 pts ~ I woke up not feeling very well.  I seem to have more stomach troubles when I don't eat what I should.  Why do I do that?  LeRoy called and wanted us to make a run to the college with him and we wanted to make a run to Costco so we met there.  It was a great couple of hours and we talked a lot about a lot of things.  Eating was not the best today due to the "I have to have" a berry sundae and churro which put me back a whopping 17.5 points!  Of course, after eating the food I was feeling very sick to my stomach, due to my problems I woke up with.  :(  Nope, I never seem to learn. This is an area I have to work on.  I didn't do much better with my water today or my workout, which was nil.  Hoping to feel a bit better tomorrow.  Sleep well everyone.

Nov 4 ~ Weigh-In [ 222 lbs ~ (+1.0) lbs] ~  No workout ~ 48 oz water ~ 29 pts ~ Slept weird again last night. Asleep by 7 pm; up at 3 am; back to sleep at 7 am for a couple hours. So, today I've felt very rested but still took a little nap at 2:30 pm. I've learned to work when I can and sleep when I can. Tried a new recipe today, Pumpkin Pancakes. Al and I both liked them and will have them again. Had a good day on Program and getting a lot of work done. I gained a pound this week but it's what I deserve for how I've been working my Program the last couple of weeks. It's going to be a better week!
