Marinated Asparagus Tips

  Try this new twist to asparagus. Thank you Richie!

Ingredients:

2 bunches of asparagus
1 1/2 tsp of sugar
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce (lite)
2 tbsp white rice vinegar [you may use white vinegar.
It may change taste (?)]
1 tsp Sesame oil.

Cook asparagus until tender, not too soft; set aside. Place all ingredients
in a bowl and mix well. Add cooked asparagus. Refrigerate. This is eaten cold -
the longer it marinates, the better it tastes.

Note: White rice vinegar can be purchased in the Chinese
section of the supermarket, or in a Chinese food store.
