Garlic Croutons

Nutrition Bonus: Garlic may not lower cholesterol, but it is
loaded with natural protective chemicals.

Makes about 2 cups

Ingredients
2 cloves roasted garlic
2 tsp olive oil, preferably extra-virgin
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups 1/2 inch bread cubes, cut from country-style bread

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, mash roasted garlic with oil. Stir in
lemon juice, salt and pepper; add bread cubes and toss. Spread the croutons
on a baking sheet. Bake until golden, 15 to 20 minutes. Set aside to cool.
