February, 2001 - Maria (Korat) & Nicole (Nicole672001) meet in Sturbridge, MA

My name is Maria (Korat) - I just wanted to say Thank you.  On the message board I noticed a Forum en titled "Where are you from, you might find a buddy around the corner"  Well, I checked it out, and I did!  I am from Southbridge, MA and Nicole ( Nicole672001) is from Sturbridge- the next town over.  She goes to meetings here in Southbridge on Tuesday nights.  I was going to the one on Thursday, but I didn't really click with the leader, so I was looking for a new meeting anyway.  So we decided to meet at the WW meeting last night.  Well, I like the leader and Nicole seems really nice.  She's about the same age (25, and married - I'm 26 and married), and we both have about the same amount to lose. When we started talking we discovered that we both have a membership at the same gym!!  So now we can motivate each other to workout too!!!  I just wanted to say thank you.  I probably would never have met her if I hadn't seen the post on your website.  I think this will work out well.  I also joined the Spring challenge, but I've only lost 6.6 so far this year. It's slow going, but it's still 6.6 lbs less than I was in 2000. Thanks again!  Maria
