We had such a good time. Golf and
lunch with a fellow Zonie. Whoo Hoo! Who could ask for a better way to spend
a summer day?
Emily and I met at the golf course
around 9 am. It was so good seeing her beautiful, smiling face again. The
last time we talked was in St. Louis at the DWLZ II Conference. We rode the
shuttle together to the airport, stood in line together to check in, then
walked together to our gates. I don't think we stopped talking the whole time
and today wasn't much different. :)
We yakked and yakked and even threw
away the scorecard after the third hole! Catching up was much more important
than any golf score. :)
After our 9 holes we were going to
go have coffee, but decided lunch at Subway would hit the spot. So, off we
went and yakked for about another hour. I'm going to have to start lurking
in the 20's. Sounds like they have some interesting discussions there! ;)
It was a very enjoyable few hours.
I loved catching up with her and spending the time smiling and laughing. Emily
is a gem, I'm so glad we had the opportunity to meet up. Next time I think
we need to do something where we can include our puppy dogs. Wouldn't that
be a hoot??
