& Vicki (vicki ellen) meet in Boca Raton, Florida

What a wonderful day I had today. I had lunch with Evie (BocaEvie) and Kathy (Foreveralways) in Boca Raton at Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant. We had never met before, but were familiar with each other because of posting at Dotti's Message Board. Kathy was in town to see her daughter play basketball at Florida Atlantic University (which my son also goes to) and after much e-mailing back and forth, we came up with a plan to meet.

I have been on WW since August 27th and have never had the pleasure and fun of eating with other members. What a treat when I could talk about this point and that point and no one looked at me like I was a nut case! Kathy is simply lovely and obviously so proud of her daughter. And Evie is a sweetie who brought us both goodie bags to take home. I love my orange Kedems and WW cooking disc. Evie even gave me a 25 pound loss magnet, which we don't receive at our meetings. (Dotti, I think she gave me hers).

All in all, our little member meeting was a joy and I feel I have 2 new friends -----------Vicki

After lunch Kathy and I went to the Florida Atlantic University Lady Owl's Basketball Game to see Kathy's daughter play. I had my camera with me to share the moment with you all. What a special, special day. Evie
