Zonies Meet in Framingham, MA Saturday,
June 16, 2001 - New England Zonie Lunch at "Our lunch was such fun today. There were nine of us Zonies who met for lunch at Ruby Tuesday's and then a quick visit to the next-door Trader Joes. THEN after that, I took Donna (dsjohnson - who just made goal and looks FABULOUS) over to Grandma's Guiltless Goodies (a local bakery). While there we both ate a wonderful Creme Horn (2 little points - ahhhhh). We have to do this more often. Thanks Becca for organizing - We missed all of you who could not show up!" Flo "This was all great and better than I expected. I have to say it felt odd somehow, good odd but odd to meet people with whom I have communicated but did not know really what they looked like or how their voices matched up. For me, lots of communication is animation so the boards are a little funny sometimes. I had been feeling a little down about my progress, but this meeting really recharged me. I should be able to get along for a real long time now. I will work really hard to make the next one as well." Liza "Today was a lot of fun...it was great meeting everyone. Becca you were right about those cat cookies (at Trader Joes) and the same with Kerry on those cafe twists. Of course I had to go home and sample both right away.
