Joan visits Al & Dotti - March 14th - 19th, 2002
Joan (Jsche123) came back out to visit Al and I from March 14th - 19th, 2002! We had SOOOOOO much fun - wish you could all have been here with us! We got our hair permed today on March 15th at noon! Joan got hers trimmed & permed and I got mine styled, cut and permed! Mine needs to loosen up a bit! :) We've been laughing and talking up a storm - nonstop! :) We had lots of shopping trips and worked some on the Conference - putting together our "Goodie" bags (and Joan thought she was leaving the "salt mines" - HA!) We made a trip to Cash 'n' Carry to pick up Davinci syrups and I had a bit of an accident - all I can say is thank goodness, Joan, the nurse was there to "nurse me". I went to grab for a bottle from a high shelf and a bottle fell on my forehead and put a gash in it! I was seeing stars for a minute and boy, did it bleed! Joan went into action and took excellent care of me! Thanks Joan! BTW - I saved the bottle from dropping to the floor and breaking - too bad it my head broke the fall! Al and Joan even went for a two mile walk while I chatted on the phone! :) Joan left with lots of goodies and OP foods that she cannot get in Wisconsin. Of course, when she arrived she set Al and I up with lots of OP foods that I cannot get here! You have to love the barter system - works so well and Zonies are the best with bartering! Thanks Joan for a really great time! Can't wait to see you again at Conference in St. Lou! Dotti |
