Monday, February 19, 2001 - Dotti & Angie (lotstoolose) meet at
Weight Watcher Meeting in Vancouver, WA

Today was my Weight Watcher meeting day - I've missed the last two because of being out of town and an emergency dental meeting so I was excited about getting to meeting and seeing everyone (more so than I usually am!).  Also, when I sat down at my computer there was the post-it note telling me Angie (lotstoolose) was meeting me at my meeting today - more excitement! When I arrived at my meeting earlier than usual, and I'm always early to begin with, I came in talking a mile a minute (I do that!) to my leader and the other workers there.  I didn't even see "Angie" there, FIRST in line - she got there earlier than I did!  While I was telling my leader my scale story (taking it to the bowling alley) Angie cracked up (she had read the story of my scalaholic ways on the boards) and then said, "Hi, I'm Angie".  We hit it off instantly - what a breath of fresh air she is!  She has such a great sense of humor and we both were excited to meet each other!  We took pictures and then stayed for the meeting - she has such a great attitude about her journey and soon we will be seeing her on our Success Story page - I just know it!  That's what is so great about our Message Board - by the time we meet our newfound friends it's like, "WOW", I know you! Angie had to leave a bit early from the meeting but we hope to get together for lunch sometime in the future.  She usually goes to another meeting because of work but had the day off yesterday so was able to attend mine.  What an honor! Thank YOU Angie for meeting me and letting me get to know you a little bit better - what a joy it was!  

I changed the photos of Angie & I to black and white as the fluorescent lighting in the building messed up the color.  Look at the excitement in our faces???  To everyone out there - if you have a chance to meet some of our new friends PLEASE DO - it is so exciting and exhilarating!  Dotti
