Here
we are with our "Build-A-Bears" and at the Heathman (Conference
Lodge)
Becky, Carole, Tracy,
Al and I had a wonderful lunch at Sweet Tomatoes in Vancouver, WA! Linda -
we are so sorry you couldn't make it! :( Next time for sure! :) Lunch was
great, as usual with Sweet Tomatoes and we all stayed within our Points -
Tracy and Becky were busy recording their points in their Palm Pilot (and
yes, we were beaming - Carole is no longer a "beaming virgin") while
Al was writing ours down in his trusty little notebook (for Points on the
run!).
Tracy, Becky and
I all brought our "Build-A-Bears" so Carole could see them - the
ladies at the next table enjoyed them too! :) Mine is named "Spunky"
and I gave him the birthdate of my quitting smoking - May 20, 2002 - it is
my anchor and reminder of being smoke-free. Becky named hers "Centurian"
and he was "born" on the day she made 100 lbs lost! What a great
anchor! Tracy named hers "Holly" and she was born at the start of
her getting back OP! They are all so very cute, cuddly and quite the anchor
to remind us how far we have come in our Journey!
Al was busy taking
the pics so unfortunately he's not in most of them because I was too busy
talking and forgot to take some! :(
We caravaned over
to the Heathman Lodge (where our Conference will be) after lunch so Carole
and Becky could see the hotel. They fell in love with it as we did and as
all attending the Conference will I am confident. Carole had to leave us then.
Becky, Tracy, Al and I headed to the mall and we introduced Becky to All American
Glace - 2 points for Heaven! :) I can't wait for our next lunch! We always
have such a great time. I sure hope more area Zonies can make it next time. Dotti
I had so much fun with Dotti, Al,
Tracy & Carole. Lunch was so much fun, lots of laughter and talking. After
lunch we went over to check out the hotel and all I can say is WOW it is beautiful.
Can't wait for May. Dotti then introduced me to All American Glace!!!!!!!!
All I can say is I'm glad I don't live close to the Vancouver Mall. I think
summer time I would be there every day having a treat. Becky
