Wow! Just got home from my first ever Zonie Lunch at Sweet Tomatoes! I had a blast meeting everyone that was there~~~ Al, Dotti (by the way, she *split* her brownie with Al ), Joan (Dotti said to tell you all that Joan had a brownie with soft serve yogurt and NUTS on it ), Carole, KarenJay, Angie, and Lynn (Johnsonz). There were a few more people but I don't recall their names. What a great group of gracious, beautiful people! Lots of chatter and catching up on news. I truly felt like I knew Dotti before I met her, and she is just as fun and nice and down-to-earth as you would expect (of course, lots of you already know that ). Al and Joan took pics, so perhaps they will post some . P.S. Joan and Dotti's hair look grrrreatttt! Linda (RDHinOR)

Joan, I and Al loved meeting all of the Zonies for lunch! Karen, Linda (so glad to finally meet you!), Carole and Angie were there along with Lynn, Kelly and her little one and good friend. Lynn (Johnsonz) even drove down from Tacoma! We caught up on the 1st Conference with her and it was so much fun! Karen, Al, Joan, Lynn and I stayed until they started getting ready to serve DINNER! Kelly (kylesmama2000) came also with her little one (he was so good and what a cutie pie) and her good friend! It was so nice meeting them too! I have to tell you guys, Zonies KNOW how to have a good time! Our laughing was heard throughout the restaurant! Gina (ginadapooh) - I am so sorry you had car problems and couldn't make it! :( We will look forward to seeing you at our next one! Also, to all the others who couldn't make it plan on the next one - we missed you!!! What can I say? It was so much fun - a wonderful day shared with great friends! Dotti

I can tell you that the zonie meeting was just so fun.. IT was a blast.. I even Beamed for the first time with the handspring.... It was great meeting you too!!! Zonie Meetings are truly an experience and I love meeting everyone.. I find it remarkable that the conversations flow so well at them like we have known each other for years!!! Joan

I always enjoy Zonie lunches. I have never been to one where I didn't fully enjoy the wonderful company, and this one was no exception. The meal was good, and I had several servings of ice cream before I was finished. (We were there for several hours. ) When it was all added up, I had eaten 14 points. But as good as the meal was, the company was much better. Linda made her first visit to one of our lunches, and it was a lot of fun getting to know her. I enjoyed sitting across from Carole, and visiting with her once again. I am very glad that she made it! And of course I sat next to my lovely Dotti, which rounded out the list of those with whom I was close enough to visit with during the actual meal. Once the meal was finished, we stayed on, and visited for a couple more hours (it was nearly dinnertime before we finally left ). It was great catching up on what had been happening with Lynn since we last saw her at the conference. Karen has been at each of our Vancouver/Portland Zonie lunches, and we always enjoy her company! Of course we all enjoyed having Joan with us! I am terrible with names and so I am not sure of the names of the other visitors, but I got pictures of everyone and I am glad each of them came to the lunch, and hope to see them at future Zonie get-togethers.When things have been bumpy and it seems like it is more work than ever before to carry on, there is nothing like a Zonie get-together to recharge the batteries. Zonies are the nicest people I know! Al

OMG! I am driving two hours away from home to meet a group of people in a restaurant from online. My hubby thought I was nuts! You never know what to expect when you meet people for the first time...Can you believe that I think I hugged everyone that was there today!?! I had such a great time. I came in all flustered & yacking (when I get nervous...I chatter too much). But I was an hour late so there were people leaving as I was coming. I was introduced but I told you all I'd be bad with names. Linda- I will be looking for you!! And the "Lots to Love" Gal, I lost that slip of paper. Ugh..I know it must be in my car. Email me!!! One of the funny things we did was call Elizabeth (from the other board I am on/she posts in Forties & Lifetimers...) since Joan HAD saved her a seat. Thanks Dotti for the use of your Minutes! I spoke with Eliz again on my drive home...she thought it was so funny how LOUD we all were. She appreciated us thinking of her. Later on...we all grabbed our Palm Pilots (oh, I felt sorry that Karen had not brought hers...we will BEAM each other next time..) & we started passing/beaming each other the programs we had downloaded. I have some cool new tools to play with. It was soooo funny!! We were all pointing them at each other Saying "BEAM ME UP DOTTI" I am sure the customers thought we were nuts! Thanks for teaching me about beaming... After we said our goodbyes (I think when they came & took our trays away, that was our hint to leave...) we all got in our cars to leave. BUT WAIT!!! What about photos?? So I had to stop Al from backing out, they all had to get unseatbelted & come stand for the last photos. Oh it was funny...you had to be there I guess!! So to end my day, Karen Jay & I went shopping at Trader Joes together, showing each other our purchases. How were the Choc Covered Soynuts?? Elliebear turned me on to those at Conference. 115 for a serving...not too bad!! Thanks Ellen...So I stopped & got a Latte at Starbucks, & headed on down the road. The drive was beautiful & got home right at dark. Thanks again for a great time...cannot wait for the next conference that I get to go to. You all are going to have a blast in St. Louis!!! Lynn (JOHNSONZ)

I urge any of you have the chance to meet her do so.... She is the most giving fabulous person I have ever met. Her hubby is very nice too. I really enjoyed meeting everyone at the Zonies lunch and I can't wait for another. Kelly (kylesmama2000)
