Friday Night Dinner, March 9, 2001, Victoria Station Restaurant, Burlington, MA - Meeting with the MA/NH "Zonies" - Cynthia (crazytrkr), Barb (trkr Barb), Tiffany (tiff421), Kerry (KerryBoston), Al & Dotti, Flo (webbmom) & Don, Becca (BeccaBell) & Alistair, Judith (JFGlitter), Sheryl (Sher710) and Karen (KMartin67). 
We met during a snowstorm too!!! What fun we had!

The snow started to fall early afternoon and it seemed the "dinner" was looking more and more like it wasn't going to happen but Al and I were "wishing" like MAD for it to all come together! Well, I have to tell you - these NE people are very determined and 11 of them made it to our dinner get-together!  Al and I were so touched that you all drove out in such bad weather to meet us and all the other "Zonies" - we had a fantastic time - it was like we were having a "family reunion", which I guess we were!!!  Everyone had great "successes" to share and the before pics were truly amazing!  Flo and I stayed (along with our hubbies) and "shut the place down", then proceeded out to the snow to a great little snowball fight!  Flo...I am really sorry you fell in the snow and got wet but...you were trying to "kill me" with that snowball!  :)  :)  :)  Many "Kodak Moments" were created and I know it was a night that Al & I will NEVER forget!  

For the ones who couldn't make it this time, I really missed seeing you!  The area "Zonies" are planning another get-together so maybe you can meet them all then! I hope so because it truly is a wonderful experience!  Also, there will be more pics as we develop them and more write-ups and I will add them as I get them!  I can't wait to see the pic of me FORCE-FEEDING that pie to Flo! Dotti

Dinner was absolutely wonderful. The feeling of "instant family" was overwhelming and beautiful. It was so nice to meet everyone in person. We had great fun passing around those "before" pictures. It was awe inspiring to see everyone's successes. Although I'm not as far along in my journey as some, it gave me great hope to see how well everyone else has done. I truly believe I will make it. Hope to see everyone again very soon !  Karen

WOW!! What a great time!! In spite of mother nature and her snow.. It was so much fun meeting Dotti claimed the night as a pointless dinner but I think we all did really well, even dessert was a point sharing thing! Pictures will be showing up here somewhere soon. If you ever have the chance to dine with Dotti.... Go for it!! We talked about getting together again with the locals.. Keep watching here and see what happens next.. Have a great weekend everyone...
