TREE SAP

This tree looks like it has received two wounds and is bleeding sap from them.
	The wound on the right seems pretty minor, but the one on the left has allowed quite a flow of sap to escape.
There is quite a bit of color in the sap stream.
	Moving closer it is easy to imagine how insects could become traped in the sap, as was descibed in the book and the movie Jurasic Park. There are pine needles and other debris stuck in the flow.
Farther down the tree, the sap nearly looks like icing on a cake, almost pure sugar.
